The funds that are disbursed to the Okanagan Sun Football team every year go to the cost of providing a knee brace or whatever medical help needed for any injured players they have that season. Its not uncommon for a team to have 3-5 players every year needing physio or even surgery due to knee injuries
This year the Sun will need 3 braces. All three boys have ACL tears, one to date has had surgery, the other two are pending. The cost of this brace varies between $700 – $1000. In the past Pinnacle Sports Physiotherapy has picked up this cost.
Carley and I are glad that Janson’s fund will help those injured players get back onto the field and continue with their dream to play football.
